I don't miss you & I am fine without you... it was very hard for me for the first few days, for the first few weeks, for the first few months. Then after overthinking & overanalyzing everything, I realized that my mistakes in the relationship were only that I was too loyal to you, I was too responsible towards the family, I was too much into family life rather than focusing on my life. I forgot about my happiness and all that, and I was just doing things for the happiness of the family. This is what I have learned by seeing others, that once you are in a relationship, especially after marriage, you have to focus on family life as a man. Which I did, and I forgot to live my life. But now after 12 years together with you, and after the separation, it was painful, but now I am fine. Now I don't miss you anymore & now I am fine without you. So this thing I have also realized that with time, you forget the person, especially if you didn't do anything wrong in the relationship. Even I forgot your face, how you look, because I deleted everything about you from my life. The only thing I want to say, I was very loyal to you, and I was trying my best to do everything for the family, but it was taking time, and you didn't have the patience. So thank you. I don't miss you and I am fine without you.
This artwork comes from my personal life, and I dedicate this artwork to myself, to a few of my male friends, and especially to my male neighbor who just got separated. The only fault of all these men was that they focused too much on work and the happiness of the family. This is the common factor I have found in the marriage separation. I am not blaming anybody, but I feel it is time to hear about the male side of separation and the male point of view regarding separation in marriage.
