I Protect Myself From Negative People artwork shows that you have learned enough in life to protect yourself from negative people. The dark background shows the world where you deal with different kinds of people every day, both inside and outside the home. The real intentions of these people are hidden, you don't know if they want good or bad for you. The reddish, blurry shape shows the negative people in your life who try to take your time, your energy, and your peace. These people can be your parents, your family, your children, your spouse, your friends, your coworkers, or anybody. A few of them you can ignore, and some of them you have to face every single day. Inside that reddish, blurry shape, there is a whitish pillar. That is you, protected even when negativity surrounds you. The meaning of this artwork is that at one point in your life, you have dealt with enough people to easily recognize who is good and who is bad for you. That recognition comes with age and experience. At that stage of life, you feel peaceful and content because you easily know what kind of people you want in your life and what kind of people you need to stay away from.

This artwork is based on my life. I created it during the lowest phase of my life when I realized how most trusted people, like parents, spouse, and everyone else, were trying to bring negativity into my life instead of helping me through a temporary meltdown. I created this artwork in 2025, and now when I look back, protecting myself from negative people was one of the best decisions I made. It doesn't matter if they were my parents.
