Artwork Description
This artwork shows that I don't have any desire to understand how money works because it feels so artificially made in our new world. The dark background shows the hidden agendas, complexities, and artificial things when it comes to money, which hardly anybody notices. Everybody is just focused on making money instead of trying to see why these things are this way and why money works like this. The messy orangish shape shows me trying to understand the nature of money in the past. Most of the time it didn't make any sense to me how this money, which nowadays I can't even touch, could give me such emotional turmoil, give me anxieties, and keep me fearful. Even money had the capability to make or break modern relationships. Another thing I wanted to understand was how one person could have so much while another had nothing, and why one person was struggling for money and another person was spending like it's nothing. I don't understand these things AND I HAVE ZERO DESIRE TO UNDERSTAND THEM NOW BECAUSE I find them superficial and artificial, like somebody created this system to keep humans under control. I really don't want to understand this system of money. This artwork shows the complexities humans have created around money and how important it has become to make money, to keep it, and to spend it. Now everything has started sounding so artificial to me in this new world when it comes to money.
