You are not born into a peaceful life, you go through difficulties before you find real peace, which is crucial in modern life. The dark background shows life as unknown, unpredictable, and full of mysteries. The whitish, rough shape in the middle shows me, who found peace and contentment in life after going through a lot of struggles. The meaning of this artwork is that you are not born with peace, you have to bring PEACE INTO YOUR LIFE by experiencing life and by CHOOSING what is important for your life. In this life, you have to go through different kinds of struggles, different kinds of experiences, and different kinds of emotions to finally achieve a peaceful life. It can take years, even decades, to reach that peace. YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE MANY THINGS, which may include marriage, family, work, and your social circle, to get peace in life. That is the reality of life, and you have to accept it. Real peace demands struggle and sacrifice.
This artwork is based on my personal life. Peace is more important to me than wealth and health because a peaceful life (and mind) is capable of doing extraordinary things beyond your own expectations. My life is peaceful now, but there are small struggles as well, which don't matter that much... peace is important to me.
